COLLABORATING WITH WOMEN'S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF NV 2005 - 2010:

THE LVRRS WAS VERY INFLUENTIAL WITH SOME WOMEN'S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF NEVADA (WCCNV) ACTIVITIES:  Trudy Platzer was actively involved on the Executive Committee level with the Women's Chamber of Commerce of NV for 5 years, and she enjoyed every minute of it with providing helping hands during various Women's Chamber events, especially with the top evaluation responsibility in regards to the nominee award finalist on annual basis during the Women's Chamber 'Athena Awards' events.

Trudy Platzer, a local leading woman herself says: "I love and respect leading women in Las Vegas, and it was every year a very intense responsibility to evaluate nominated WCCNV members, and making the final decision to help some of those very special, local leading ladies in power to step into the Athena Award limelight, for their unique accomplishments in our community. I was so proud of each of the Athena Award finalists and was extremely happy for them to have reached their well-deserved recognition."

(On the right) Trudy Platzer's 19 hour volunteer days, 7 days a week as the Las Vegas Railroad Society's CEO Volunteer and Founding Chairman to help develop Las Vegas' biggest field trip destination for all local children forced her to put the Women's Chamber volunteer Executive Committee position on hold for the time being.

Trudy Platzer was publicly honored as recipient of a WCCNV appreciation plaque for volunteering for 5 years as board member with the WCCNV Executive Committee, and as loyal hands-on volunteer for the Women's Chamber of Commerce of NV.

Ms. Platzer said it was an honor to support the Women's Chamber of Commerce of NV in more ways than one.

Believe it - or not, the recipient won two of Trudy's huge baskets during this Women's Chamber event! The lucky winner's smile says it all.
