Hello, My name is Richard Wilkens and some might remember me as I volunteered at Ely in the 80's and early 90's. For some time I have been working on a database of preserved freight cars in North America and as part of this I have been working to include the freight cars and work service cars that were formerly freight cars found at the Nevada Northern Railway Museum. The roster is what I put together back in the late 80's/early 90's from info in the museum's archive along with a roster from the museum itself. As quite a bit of time has passed some cars may have been disposed of and others acquired. Some of the car numbers, especially the NCC/KCC cars, may have been assigned by the museum at the time of acquisition. If any one can help to verify the cars in the collection and provide info such as builder, built date, construction, former owners, etc. that would be appreciated.
